The Redesigned Window Buck is Patent Pending
As you probably already know, the building code changed in 2005 throughout the state of Florida and the 1x3 Beveled Buck was no longer compliant. The Miami Dade County Building Code Compliance Office, Product Control Division, issued what is known today as the Notice of Acceptance (NOA). The NOA was issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction materials. Drywall contractors had no other choice than to start using a straight cut pressure-treated 1x4, that kicked off a great deal of difficulties when finishing around windows and doors. This has created a very expensive and time-consuming nightmare for drywall contractors and builders alike.
Supreme Window Bucks, LLC worked hard on the research and development to determine what caused the (NOA) to reject the 1x3 Beveled Buck and the findings were: the 1x3 beveled bucks were not architecturally durable enough to secure a window in a high velocity hurricane zone. Supreme Window Bucks is proudly introducing the NEW redesigned patent pending Beveled Buck that is Miami-Dade County Approved and acceptable by the Florida Building Code.
We are presently stocking a #1 Grade MCA pressure-treated yellow southern pine natural wood Beveled Buck. We are directing a massive mailing advertising campaign throughout Florida to inform contractors that the BEVELED BUCK IS BACK! This letter is to give you a heads up. Your customers will start calling and asking for the Beveled Buck to be added to their metal packages.
Your customers will give you the Manufactures name and the Series # of the windows & doors. Once you place an order with us we will provide you with all the information you need to sell them the correct buck. The Beveled Buck is available in 8’ or 10’ lengths. Each house takes between 60-100 window bucks and between 10-20 door bucks. The minimum order is 1,920 window bucks and 400 door bucks this is equivalent to 20 houses.
